Hermès has introduced a new titanium version of its Cape Cod watch. The model features a satin-finished and bead-blasted case along with new rubber straps. It marks the first time the collection uses titanium.
The Cape Cod, designed by Henri d’Origny, has been part of the Hermès lineup since 1991. This 33mm model uses an automatic Vaucher-manufactured H1912 caliber with a 45-hour power reserve.
The watch includes an orange central seconds hand, a recessed Charmilles-textured dial, and a date window at 6 o’clock. It offers 100m water resistance and comes with rubber straps in black, Bleu Abysse, Jaune de Naples, and orange.
Priced at US$7,900 or £6,340, the new version aims for a sportier appeal while retaining the signature square-within-a-rectangle shape inspired by anchor-chain links.
