Mirabai Chanu won gold in the women's 48kg category at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow on July 26. It marked her third consecutive Commonwealth Games gold medal.
Rishikanta Singh took silver in the men's 60kg event. Raja Muthupandi added another silver in the men's 65kg category with a total lift of 286kg.
In boxing Jadumani Singh defeated Pakistan's Sumama Rehman by a unanimous 5-0 decision. He dedicated the win to the heroes of the Kargil War.
