Indio Solari's widow thanked support from Buenos Aires leaders

Virginia Mones Ruiz published a video to thank the support received after the death of Carlos Indio Solari.

Virginia Mones Ruiz, widow of Carlos Indio Solari, shared a video message on June 12. In it she expressed gratitude to family members, friends and collaborators for their support following the musician's death.

Mones Ruiz named several leaders from the Buenos Aires Peronist movement. They include Governor Axel Kicillof, whom she thanked for providing staff, as well as Máximo Kirchner, Wado de Pedro, Facundo Tignanelli, Jorge Ferraresi and Pablo Descalzo.

The widow also recognized firefighters from Avellaneda, Quilmes and Lanús, residents of Parque Leloir and members of the artist's band. She praised fans for their respectful conduct during the farewells.

"Bruno and I have an endless list of people who genuinely offered help and whom we want to thank," Mones Ruiz said. She added that the Indio's farewell was "a source of pride and immeasurable emotion".
