Jacques Marie Mage opened its new gallery space on Wooster Street in SoHo on Thursday evening. The three-story venue featured art and design elements tied to nature and the brand's partnership with Yellowstone National Park. Patti Smith performed three songs for guests including Grace Gummer, Mark Ronson and Collier Schorr.
The opening drew a crowd to the neighborhood on May 28. Guests viewed chrome cabinetry, zebra-print lounge chairs and sculptures including an oversized wolf skull by Quentin Garel and an eagle's beak installation. They sampled Krug champagne, caviar blinis, German pickles and Hibiki whisky while trying on the brand's sunglasses and examining leather goods, jewelry and ceramics on display.
