BLACKPINK member Jennie released her new single Less than a Lover on July 24 and quickly dominated global music charts.
On July 24 at 1 p.m. KST Jennie released the single Less than a Lover along with its music video.
By 1:30 p.m. KST on July 25 the track reached number one on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 27 regions including the Philippines Indonesia and Brazil. OA Entertainment stated this marked the highest number of regions topped by any K-pop solo song released in 2026.
The song also hit number one on YouTube worldwide Top Trending Music Videos as well as the trending lists in South Korea and the United States. In China it topped charts on QQ Music NetEase Cloud Music and KuGou Music while reaching number two on Melon Hot 100 in Korea.
