Jordan Bardella and Marine Le Pen displayed unity on Saturday at a banquet in Liévin, three days before the ruling on Le Pen's candidacy.
The leading duo of the Rassemblement National gathered on Saturday in Liévin, Pas-de-Calais. Jordan Bardella stated: « I want to thank Marine for her friendship and for her trust, for her loyalty. I want to reaffirm my total support, my total friendship. »
Marine Le Pen said she would run if the courts allowed it. Otherwise, she would back Bardella « with energy, trust and conviction ».
The appeal ruling on her conviction in the RN parliamentary assistants case is due on July 7. Bardella added that he hoped to see Le Pen elected president of the Republic.
