José Madero confirms new album inspired by Taylor Swift

José Madero revealed in an interview that he will record a new album in November, inspired by Taylor Swift's surprise release style. The musician, going through a difficult emotional period, sees music creation as a refuge to regain balance. His Sarajevo tour will culminate at Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City.

In an interview with journalist Javier Paniagua, José Madero, former vocalist of PXNDX, confirmed he has a new album fully composed since last year ready. The project will begin recording in November, though no title or release date was revealed. Madero explained that his recent single 'Vidrio por doquier' will not be part of the album, as it does not fit its lyrical or musical concept.

The musician admitted to being in a 'somewhat dark' stage of his life, marked by an emotional crisis that intensified during his South American tour, particularly in Ecuador. There, flight delays and accumulated fatigue led him to question his identity beyond the stage. 'I'm in a somewhat dark moment in my life', he confessed, adding that he has neglected his spiritual, sentimental, and friendly life. 'I'd like to have more purposes than just being the guy who stands on stage singing to people. I'm more than that'.

Despite the success of his Sarajevo tour, which includes a concert at Estadio GNP Seguros, Madero plans to take a break to rebuild his life and regain motivation. Music serves him as personal balance during this unstable phase. Regarding the new album, he drew inspiration from Taylor Swift after his sister mentioned the surprise release of 'The Life of a Showgirl'. Though he doubted his project could handle a similar scheme—'I think only a project like hers can withstand that'—he did not rule out trying something new, like announcing the full album without previews.
