Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Logan Lee reflected on his up-and-down 2025 season, highlighting a strong finish and his determination to prove himself to the new coaching staff. In a recent interview, he described shifting to a bolder approach late in the year. Lee aims to build on that momentum heading into 2026.
Logan Lee appeared in seven games during the 2025 season, starting with limited snaps early on. He logged just one snap against New York in Week 1, four against New England in Week 3, and 17 against Seattle without recording a statistic, he said in an interview on Off The Air With Matt Randazzo this week. Opportunities remained scarce until later in the year when injuries or other factors opened the door for more playing time. Lee credited staying healthy as a key factor in his contributions. “Coming into the season, I ended up staying healthy. I was actually able to contribute a little bit… The first five [games] was kind of just really trying to take the training wheels off a little bit,” Lee said. “The last five games, I dressed again, and I was actually able to make a little bit of an impact... The back half of the year, I just said ‘send it’.” In those late games, Lee played 26 combined snaps against Baltimore and Miami, recording two tackles and a quarterback hit. He also knocked down a pass in three snaps against Cleveland in Week 17 and another in his lone snap during the Week 18 win over Baltimore. With a new coaching staff in place—including the departure of position coach Karl Dunbar to New York—Lee faces increased competition from 12 draft picks and potential undrafted free agents. “Now working with the new staff, I have to prove my attributes. I was able to put a little bit of film out there,” he said. “But I need to be able to do that more consistently.”
