The first alert came in at 21:03 to Staffanstorps energi, the local energy company. "We received the first alert from a customer at 21:03. He said it's without power at his place and in the Staffanstorp community," says Häny Tedjrasi, SOS operator at the company. The on-call team was activated immediately, confirming a major outage.
The outage lasted nearly two hours. According to the company's website, the fault was resolved at 22:54. The number of affected households is unclear, but the company has about 8,000 customers. Local media report that power was restored without major incidents, and no information on the cause has been released.
