A 20-year-old man allegedly drove into a 48-year-old relative with his car in Bonn-Oberkassel on Saturday afternoon. Police are investigating attempted homicide and searching for the suspect.
The suspect allegedly targeted the woman and lightly injured her. He then rammed a wall and fled in a black car damaged at the front. A homicide squad has taken over the case.
The man is registered in the Rhein-Kreis Neuss district. He is already under investigation for threats in a family context. Photos of the fugitive were released by court order and are available on the NRW police wanted portal.
The injured woman was taken to hospital by ambulance. Police are seeking witnesses and ask for tips on the man's whereabouts or the getaway vehicle.
