Ronald Fierro, a resident of Neiva—the rice capital of Huila—died Sunday night on the road linking Campoalegre to Neiva. The man was attempting to cross the highway in front of the Acrópolis neighborhood when he was struck by a motorcycle.
The motorcycle driver could not avoid hitting the victim, causing severe injuries that led to his immediate death at the scene. Judicial Police units arrived to recover the body and begin investigations into the accident.
