Maxxine Dupri has joined The Vision stable during this week's WWE Raw. She assisted Austin Theory and Bron Breakker in regaining the World Tag Team Championship.
On the July 6 edition of Monday Night Raw, Austin Theory and Bron Breakker defeated the Street Profits to win the World Tag Team Championship. Maxxine Dupri delivered a low blow to Angelo Dawkins, securing the victory for The Vision. She and Theory then embraced after the match.
Speaking to Complex’s Graps the Podcast, Dupri explained her decision. “I mean have you seen (Austin Theory)? I feel like the answer is pretty clear,” she said. “I want to be with the best of the best. You are the average of the five people you surround yourself with, and I’m gonna surround myself with the best.”
Dupri also addressed Chad Gable’s earlier apology. She described it as her “first heartbreak” in the industry and rejected the overture. “That was like my first heartbreak in this industry, I trusted Chad wholeheartedly with my whole career, with everything, and to be treated with such disrespect,” she added.
