Metallica has announced two shows at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, on November 19 and 21. The performances feature Suicidal Tendencies opening the first night and Spiritbox the second, celebrating the venue's 25th anniversary. The dates follow the band's 'No Repeat Weekends' format, with no songs repeated across both nights.
Metallica revealed the Connecticut concerts as part of preparations for their extended residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas. The Sphere shows, now totaling 24 performances from October 1 to March 13, incorporate immersive technologies like Sphere Immersive Sound and multi-sensory 4D effects for a unique experience. The band introduced the no-repeat policy during their M72 World Tour and plans to maintain it for these pairs of shows, with two-night ticket packages available for the full experience.
