Jorge Alexander Liévano Valencia's body was found Friday afternoon in the driver's seat of his truck, beside the road from Villalobos to Campo Hermoso in rural San Vicente del Caguán.
From La Plata in Huila, Liévano transported and sold milk in the area. He had attended Colegio Cooperativo Mixto, according to those close to him.
A police spokesperson in Caquetá stated the man died of natural causes. Initial hypotheses point to a sudden heart attack.
On Facebook, relatives mourned his loss. His sister Clara Yaneth Liévano Valencia wrote: “I deeply feel your departure dear brother Jorge Alexander Liévano Valencia, so suddenly you leave us with immense pain in our hearts.” Lolitax Valencia, possibly a niece, said: “My uncle my warrior my friend, even without understanding your departure it hurts me so much.” Isaac Carbajal, who greeted him the day before, expressed shock at the news.
