Jordan Peele's Monkeypaw Productions has let go of three staffers in its development department. The cuts come about a year after a previous round of layoffs at the company. Monkeypaw's deal with Universal is expected to run through mid-2026.
Monkeypaw Productions, led by Oscar-winning filmmaker Jordan Peele, has pinkslipped three development staffers, leaving the department with around four remaining employees that continue to receive material. The identities of those let go remain unclear. As first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, these layoffs follow a similar round roughly a year ago, which included three production VPs and about five junior staffers.
