Nakamura wins Bullet Brawl by 58-point margin

GM Hikaru Nakamura claimed victory in the June 6, 2026 Bullet Brawl on Chess.com with a commanding performance. He finished with 201 points, 58 ahead of second-place GM Oleksandr Bortnyk.

Nakamura secured first place after scoring 56 wins, two draws and eight losses in the two-hour arena event. Bortnyk placed second while GM Andrew Tang finished third. Fourth place went to GM Guha Mitrabha and FM Rose Atwell earned the top women's prize. The event offered a $1,000 prize fund with Nakamura receiving $400, Bortnyk $250, Tang $150, Mitrabha $100 and Atwell $100. The next Bullet Brawl is scheduled for June 13 at 12 p.m. ET.
