Netflix has released the first trailer for Nemesis, the upcoming action series from Power creator Courtney A. Kemp and Tani Marole. The high-stakes drama pitting a Los Angeles detective against a master thief will drop all eight episodes on May 14.
Building on the series order and cast announcement from earlier this year, Netflix dropped the official trailer for Nemesis on Monday. The action drama, co-created by Courtney A. Kemp (showrunner on Starz's Power) and Tani Marole, stars Matthew Law (Abbott Elementary) as LAPD Det. Isaiah Stiles and Y'lan Noel (Insecure) as thief Coltrane Wilder. It subverts the heist genre with intense action, family drama, and explorations of human motivations. Returning cast from prior announcements includes Cleopatra Coleman, Tre Hale, Domenick Lombardozzi, Jonnie Park, and Ariana Guerra. This is Kemp's first series under her 2021 Netflix deal.
