Netflix has announced Unhinged, a new narrative-driven horror adventure game from Night School Games, the studio behind Oxenfree. The title stars Zoë Kravitz and Sadie Sink and is set to launch on June 30.
Unhinged follows two friends, Ava and Claire, who must survive a killer in a desolate apartment building while communicating by phone. Players control Ava using their phone, which also rings or vibrates to deliver calls and messages from Claire.
Troy Baker voices a character named Ben, who players can likewise reach via phone. The game turns the device into both a controller and an integral part of the story.
Night School Games was acquired by Netflix in 2021. The studio is one of the few remaining after Netflix closed or sold several others in 2024 and 2025.
