Niall Horan added his vocals to a cover by 'Off Campus' star Ella Bright, creating a surprise duet that was revealed to her in a video posted by Island Records.
Ella Bright, who plays music major Hannah Wells in the Prime Video series 'Off Campus', reacted with shock and excitement upon hearing the new version of her cover of The Foundations' 1968 hit “Baby Now That I Found You.” Horan appears in the clip to announce the collaboration, saying, “You don’t know this yet, but you’re about to listen to our version of ‘Baby Now That I Found You.’”
Bright compared the track to Horan’s 2016 solo hit “This Town,” calling it her favorite song and exclaiming, “I’ve got a song with Niall Horan. That’s actually wild.” The duet serves as a bonus track on the newly released Off Campus: The Mixtape (Extra Credit Edition), which includes six additional songs with covers by Suki Waterhouse, The Beaches and Carol Ades.
The original cover appears in the series, which premiered in May and features music prominently in its storyline. Horan’s contribution follows the release of his album Dinner Party, which debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200.
