Oromia regional chief administrator Shimelis Abdisa called on the leadership to work with greater commitment to sustain registered victories, as the three-day review of the 2018 budget year performance concluded.
The review, held over the past three days, highlighted that policies and strategies based on the Medemer concept are being implemented through coordinated efforts by the party, government structures, and public participation. Shimelis Abdisa stressed that development opportunities, human resources, and knowledge must be coordinated to boost productivity, ensure competitiveness, and expand investment in the new budget year.
Kefyalew Tefera, head of the Prosperity Party Oromia branch office, noted that challenges faced in previous years had been turned into opportunities. He added that the leadership must demonstrate greater dedication to achieve the goals of the prosperity journey.
Overall, the regional leadership was directed to strengthen financial capacity, coordinate the roles of the public and allied bodies, and intensify self-reliance efforts across all sectors.
