Örebro SK came from behind to win 2–1 against IFK Norrköping at Behrn Arena and took the top spot in Superettan. Match hero Antonio Yakoub sealed the victory with a fine goal ten minutes from full time. Coach Rikard Norling's surprise benching of stars Kalle Holmberg and Ahmed Yasin drew the most attention.

On a sunny Behrn Arena in front of 11,712 spectators, IFK Norrköping took the lead after just over ten minutes with Christoffer ”Totte” Nyman’s dream goal from outside the penalty area. ÖSK equalized five minutes later as Jacob Ortmark assisted Samuel Wikman for 1–1.

The second half featured several chances for both sides. With ten minutes remaining, Antonio Yakoub controlled a cross, turned, and shot the ball between goalkeeper Theo Krantz’s legs for 2–1. Norrköping pushed for an equalizer but ÖSK held on after 97 minutes to claim their second win of the season.

Coach Rikard Norling surprisingly benched star players Kalle Holmberg and Ahmed Yasin ahead of the rivalry match. ”He thought Erman would be better than me this match, and he was because we won”, Holmberg said afterwards. Norling himself described the decision as a path to the future: ”Great that it worked out, it sets us on the right path into the future in some way”.

The victory puts ÖSK top of Superettan for the first time in 13 years, one point ahead of Norrköping who suffered their first loss. Yakoub told TV4: ”These are important three points. They are good, but we managed to hold out”.
