Pennsylvania man arrested after allegedly setting home ablaze

Anthony Mohamed, 37, was arrested after authorities say he intentionally set fire to his stepbrother's home in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, on March 29. The blaze forced up to 10 residents, including children, to jump from the roof to escape.

The Westmoreland County District Attorney's Office charged Mohamed with six counts of attempted criminal homicide, aggravated arson and other offenses. Surveillance video and a fire marshal's investigation identified him as the suspect who used a direct flame device to start the fire just before 8 a.m. on McCargo Street.
