The Professional Fighters League has added a lightweight bout featuring undefeated fighter Levan Khabalaev to its New York event in Long Island. Khabalaev will face fellow New Yorker Ryan Gerena.
The promotion confirmed the matchup to Sherdog. Khabalaev, a product of Longo’s MMA with a 5-0 record, will lock horns with Gerena, who holds a 4-1 mark.
The bout is part of a lightweight showcase at PFL New York. Both fighters hail from the area, adding a local element to the card.
