Magbibigay ang Pilipinas ng visa-libre na pagpasok sa mga mamamayan ng China hanggang 14 araw simula sa Enero 16, 2026. Ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs, epektibo ito ng isang taon at susuriin bago mag-2027.

Inihayag ng Department of Foreign Affairs ng Pilipinas ang bagong patakaran na nagbibigay-daan sa mga Chinese nationals na pumasok sa bansa nang walang visa hanggang 14 araw. Epektibo ito simula sa Biyernes, Enero 16, 2026, at mananatiling bisa ng isang taon, na maaaring suriin bago mag-expire noong 2027.

Ayon sa opisyal na pahayag, layunin ng hakbang na mapahusay ang relasyon sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at China. Ito ay bahagi ng mas malawak na diplomatic efforts sa gitna ng patuloy na usapin sa South China Sea, bagaman walang karagdagang detalye ang ibinigay tungkol sa mga kondisyon o limitasyon.

Ang visa-free access ay limitado sa 14 araw at maaaring magbago batay sa bilateral na kasunduan. Walang nabanggit na epekto sa iba pang nationalities o sa pangkalahatang imigrasyon policies.
