The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has declared the results of the Nurses Licensure Examination conducted in November 2025. Out of 45,192 candidates who took the exam at 21 testing centers nationwide, 40,692 successfully passed, marking a significant milestone for aspiring nurses in the country.

The examination was overseen by the Board of Nursing, with Hon. Leah Primitiva S. Paquiz serving as chairperson. Other members include Hon. Elsie A. Tee, Hon. Zenaida C. Gagno, Hon. Mary Grace C. Lacanaria, Hon. Mila Delia M. Llanes, Hon. Merle L. Salvani, and Hon. Josefina A. Tuazon. This board ensured the integrity and standards of the licensure process.

Successful examinees can begin online registration for their Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration starting December 23, 2025, via the PRC website at www.prc.gov.ph. Applicants must prepare specific documents: a downloaded Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission for identification, two passport-sized colored photos with white background and name tag, two sets of documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope. All new licensees are required to register in person and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oathtaking ceremony for the new nurses will be scheduled later, with details on date and venue to be announced by the PRC. The full list of passers is available on the PRC's official channels, while top-performing schools are determined under Commission Resolution No. 1814 series of 2024, though specific rankings were not detailed in the release.

This announcement underscores the ongoing demand for qualified nursing professionals in the Philippines, contributing to both local healthcare and global opportunities.
