Quando Rondo released from prison to halfway house

Savannah rapper Quando Rondo has been transferred from federal prison to a halfway house in Atlanta. He had been serving time for a drug conviction.

Savannah rapper Quando Rondo, whose real name is Tyquian Bowman, has moved from the Edgefield Federal Correctional Institution in South Carolina to a halfway house in Atlanta. He pleaded guilty in 2024 to one count of conspiracy to possess and distribute marijuana and received a 33-month sentence. Bowman began serving his term in late 2024 and completed 15 months behind bars. He was also ordered to pay a $40,000 fine. Online records show he is scheduled to receive his full release on Nov. 11. At his sentencing hearing Bowman apologized to the city of Savannah, his family, and his daughters. He was originally arrested in December 2023 on more serious drug charges that were later dropped as part of a plea deal. Bowman remains connected to a separate criminal case in California involving his rival Lil Durk.
