Rory McIlroy's Tuesday practice round at the 2026 PGA Championship was cut short due to discomfort from a blister on his right foot.
The Northern Irish golfer completed only three holes at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. Reporters on site noted that McIlroy removed his shoe in the third fairway before finishing the hole and again on the fourth tee, after which he returned to the clubhouse by cart.
