Nagponse na ang Senado kahapon para sa bakasyon ng Holy Week matapos ratipikahan ang panukalang batas na nagre-reset ng eleksyon sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. Muling magbubukas ang sesyon sa Mayo 4.

Sa sesyon noong Martes, naaprubahan ng Senado ang ulat ng bicameral conference committee tungkol sa panukalang batas na nagpapalit ng petsa ng unang regular na parliamentary elections sa BARMM sa Setyembre 14. Ang panukala rin ay magsasalba ng mga susunod na eleksyon sa BARMM kasabay ng national at local elections simula Mayo 2031 at bawat tatlong taon pagkatapos nito. Ayon sa sponsor na si Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri, nailarawan na rin sa ulat ang pag-akyat sa tungkulin ng mga opisyal ng parliament sa Oktubre 30 ngayong taon at Hunyo 30 sa mga susunod na eleksyon. Bukod dito, naaprubahan din sa second reading ang proposed “People’s Freedom of Information Act” noong Martes ng gabi. Ang pagponse ng Senado ay kasunod ng pagpasa ng mga priority measures na ito.
