Sony has extended its recent PlayStation Plus price increases to the Extra and Premium subscription tiers following an initial announcement that focused only on the Essential plan.
The changes took effect on 20 May for new customers. Sony attributed the adjustments to ongoing market conditions and global economic pressures, similar to its earlier decision to raise prices on PlayStation hardware including the base PS5 model. This follows Sony's initial announcement on price increases for Essential-tier subscriptions.
