Tasha Steelz has re-signed with TNA Wrestling after seven years with the promotion. The former Knockouts World Champion confirmed the news in an interview and TNA issued an official statement.
Tasha Steelz announced her decision during an interview with Denise Salcedo. She said she took 48 hours to decide and chose to stay due to her loyalty to the Knockouts division.
"I have to shape the Knockouts division," Steelz said. She added that the division helped her from day one and she could not turn her back on the other women.
TNA Wrestling confirmed the re-signing on its website. The company stated that Steelz will appear at Slammiversary on June 28 at Agganis Arena in Boston.
Steelz has held the Knockouts World Championship and the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship twice. She is a member of the Order 4 stable.
