Timrå IK outlines roster plans for 2026/27 season

Timrå IK has added several new players ahead of the 2026/27 SHL season following the departure of defenseman Alfons Freij.

The team lost Alfons Freij recently and is considering a replacement. Sport director Kent Norberg has otherwise completed the squad.

New signings include goalie Frederik Dichow from HV71. Defensemen Tim Barkemo from BIK Karlskoga and Wilhelm Hallquisth from HV71 have also joined.

Forwards added are Reid Gardiner and Dylan McLaughlin from Växjö, Otto Kivenmäki from SaiPa and Lucas Forsell from Färjestad. Mikael Gath is the new head coach.
