Chicago post-rock band Tortoise will perform across the United States and Canada this summer. The tour begins June 25 at New York City's Knockdown Center.
The quintet of Dan Bitney, John Herndon, Douglas McCombs, John McEntire, and Jeff Parker released their album Touch in 2025. It marked their first full-length record in nine years and included the singles Layered Presence and Oganesson. Fresh from an international tour, the group will open the North American run with L’Rain in Queens on June 25. Additional stops include Boston, Toronto, Los Angeles, and Montréal. The full schedule lists performances through early August, with dates in Washington, D.C., Burlington, Vermont, and several California venues.
