Hyperpop musician Underscores publicly criticized the Houston venue Meow Wolf hours before a scheduled show there. She described the venue's upper management as difficult and misogynistic in an Instagram post to fans.
Underscores, whose real name is April Harper Grey, was touring in support of her album 'U', released in March. The show took place on Saturday night at Meow Wolf. In her post, she wrote that the venue could not accommodate her full production. She added that staff had been rude or misogynistic to her team. She later clarified that general venue staff had been nice and accommodating. Problems came only from upper management. Underscores apologized to fans and promised to return to Houston with full production on a future date.
