VANDYTHEPINK and ASICS are set to release a pair of ice cream-themed Gel-Kayano 12.1 sneakers on August 8. The collaboration features "Chocolate" and "Vanilla" colorways with custom branding details.
The two-pack release draws on soft brown and milky white tones accented with pastel hues. "Chocolate" uses a brown mesh upper with silver and light yellow overlays, while "Vanilla" incorporates white mesh along with baby pink, mint green, and light yellow touches.
Additional elements include embossed "VANDYTHEPINK" lettering on the eyelets and a Korean wordmark on the tongue. Dual flower motif tags appear at the heel, referencing the brand's emblem.
This marks the second collaboration between the Virginia-born streetwear label and ASICS after last year's Gel-Nimbus 10.1 food-themed pair. The sneakers will be available at select retailers and the VANDYTHEPINK website.
