Zayn Malik cancels U.S. leg of Konnakol Tour amid ongoing health recovery

Zayn Malik has canceled the U.S. leg of his Konnakol Tour, announced two weeks after his hospitalization for an unspecified illness. This follows earlier cancellations of promotional appearances, including The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He cited continued recovery needs, with some international dates proceeding.

Zayn Malik canceled the American leg of his Konnakol Tour, set to begin July 12, sharing the news via Instagram Story. He explained he has been recovering at home post-hospitalization, leading to the scrapping of summer and fall U.S. arena dates—including June and July shows plus November performances—with refunds for ticket holders. European and Mexican shows in the coming months, plus other international dates, remain on the updated tour itinerary.

“To my fans: Thank you so much for all the support and love you’ve shown me on the album release and more importantly your love, prayers, and well wishes for my health. I’ve felt it, and it’s meant the world. I’ve been at home recovering and I’m doing well and will be better and stronger than before,” Malik wrote. He added, “I’ve had to take another look at my schedule for the months ahead and have to reduce the number of shows on the KONNAKOL Tour. I want to make sure I still get out and see as many of you as I possibly can.”

The decision comes after Malik's fifth solo album, Konnakol, released the same day he disclosed his hospitalization. East Coast record store promotions for the album were also canceled, following the recent withdrawal from Jimmy Fallon due to doctor's orders amid recovery.
