Violet Grohl announces debut album 'Be Sweet to Me'

Violet Grohl, the 19-year-old daughter of Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, has announced her debut album, Be Sweet to Me, set for release on May 29 via Republic Records, Island EMI, and Auroura Records. The album is previewed by the single '595', now accompanied by a music video directed by Nikki Milan Houston, following prior releases including 'THUM', 'Applefish', and 'What’s Heaven Without You'. It draws inspiration from late 1980s and early 1990s alternative music, as well as filmmaker David Lynch.
New Zealand singer-songwriter CAITLIN has released her new single ‘You’re Only Good To Calm Me Down’, the latest preview of her upcoming EP Guardrails. The track explores themes of self-discovery and denial, self-produced with assistance from Will McGillivray. She is scheduled to perform the EP at Electric Avenue 2026 on the main stage.
