Anthony Volpe

Anthony Volpe, recovering from offseason shoulder surgery, hit a home run in his first game with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The New York Yankees shortstop went 2-for-4 with two runs scored in the RailRiders' 7-1 victory over Rochester. Volpe's rehab assignment moved up from Double-A Somerset on Tuesday.
