Meta announces incognito chat for ai in whatsapp

Meta is introducing Incognito Chat, a new mode for its AI assistant in WhatsApp that prevents even the company from accessing user conversations. The feature relies on end-to-end encryption and private processing technology. It will roll out gradually to users over the coming months.
Apple launched iOS 26.5 on Monday along with updates to its other operating systems, adding beta end-to-end encryption for RCS chats between iPhone and Android users.

Samsung has announced it will discontinue its Messages app for Galaxy phones in July 2026, urging users to switch to Google Messages. The app will stop working entirely except for emergency services after that date. Older Galaxy Watches on Tizen will lose access to full conversation history.
