Director Peter Berg confirmed that the upcoming Call of Duty movie will be set in the Modern Warfare universe. The revelation came during this weekend's Fanatics Fest.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) has reached a 24-hour peak of 57,959 players on Steam following a 90% discount during the Spring Sale, exceeding the peak of 50,325 for the Call of Duty app that includes recent titles such as Black Ops 6 and Black Ops 7. The game is now priced at £4.99, a rare deep cut for the series. These figures exclude console players.
