Governor Axel Kicillof and leader Máximo Kirchner have reached a unity agreement in the Buenos Aires Justicialist Party after negotiations overseen by Kicillof himself and former President Cristina Kirchner. Kicillof will take the presidency of the provincial PJ, with Verónica Magario as vice president. This pact aims to strengthen Peronism in Buenos Aires province.
