The drone-metal duo Sunn O))) have shared a new track, “Butch’s Guns,” from their upcoming self-titled album on Sub Pop, set for release on April 3. The song previews their first new material since 2019, alongside announcements of additional European tour dates following a North American run. The album features recordings made exclusively by Stephen O'Malley and Greg Anderson at Bear Creek Studios in Washington.
Punk band Downtown Boys will release Public Luxury, their first album since 2017's Cost of Living, on June 26 via Sub Pop. The lead single 'No Me Jodas' arrives with a live video directed by John MacKay. The band has also scheduled initial live shows.
