Tragic Incident

Elvin Abrea, a 32-year-old jockey, has died after being unseated from his horse and trampled during a race in the Philippines. The incident occurred at the Hapi Jockey Club in Padre Garcia, the country's only racecourse, which opened in November. Sunday's races were cancelled in the wake of the tragedy.
