Iran's Football Federation has announced it will skip the final draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup after the United States denied visas to several key delegation members. FIFA has relocated its Unites: Women’s Series tournament from the United Arab Emirates to Morocco after the Afghan women’s team was denied visas. The four-team friendly, featuring Afghan Women United, UAE, Chad and Libya, will now begin on Sunday. The event marks the debut for the Afghan team, formed following the 2021 Taliban ban on women's sports.
