Andrew Vanderbeck extends contract with Södertälje SSK

Forward Andrew Vanderbeck has decided to remain with Södertälje SK for another season instead of pursuing opportunities abroad.

The club announced on Monday that Vanderbeck will stay in Södertälje after turning down the chance to play overseas. He joined SSK from the Finnish team Pelicans in February and contributed four points in seven regular-season games before recording 13 points in 14 playoff matches.
