Alexander Bjurström declines contract and leaves Visby/Roma

Alexander Bjurström is parting ways with Visby/Roma after two seasons as the team's top scorer. The 28-year-old forward turned down a contract offer despite helping the club achieve promotion to HockeyAllsvenskan.

Bjurström recorded 53 points in 46 games during the 2024/25 season and followed that with 51 points in 52 regular-season games this year. In the playoffs he added nine goals and 16 points over 16 games as Visby/Roma earned its first-ever promotion to the higher division.
