Alexander Bjurström lehnt Vertrag ab und verlässt Visby/Roma

Alexander Bjurström trennt sich nach zwei Spielzeiten, in denen er der beste Scorer des Teams war, von Visby/Roma. Der 28-jährige Stürmer lehnte ein Vertragsangebot ab, obwohl er maßgeblich zum Aufstieg des Clubs in die HockeyAllsvenskan beigetragen hatte.

Bjurström erzielte in der Saison 2024/25 53 Punkte in 46 Spielen und ließ in diesem Jahr 51 Punkte in 52 Spielen der regulären Saison folgen. In den Playoffs steuerte er zudem neun Tore und 16 Punkte aus 16 Spielen bei, womit Visby/Roma der erstmalige Aufstieg in die höhere Spielklasse gelang.

Visby Roma is actively pursuing forward Carl Jakobsson from Västerås as part of its preparations for a return to the Hockeyallsvenskan. The club is also advancing plans to renovate its home arena.
