Apollo Hospitals inaugure un centre dédié aux troubles veineux à Chennai

Apollo Hospitals a ouvert un centre dédié aux troubles veineux au sein de son hôpital de Greams Road, à Chennai. Ce nouvel établissement propose des soins spécialisés pour des affections telles que les varices, la thrombose veineuse profonde et l'insuffisance veineuse chronique. Il associe l'expertise de la chirurgie vasculaire, de la radiologie, de la dermatologie et des soins des plaies.

Le centre a été inauguré le 11 mai 2026 afin de prendre en charge des troubles veineux qui restent souvent non diagnostiqués. Ilankumaran Kaliamoorthy, PDG d'Apollo Hospitals pour la région de Chennai, a déclaré que l'établissement offrirait des traitements précis et peu invasifs favorisant une récupération rapide. Les chirurgiens vasculaires Balaji et Rajarajan Venkatesan ont assisté à l'inauguration, aux côtés de Naveen, PDG d'Apollo Hospitals Greams Road, et du Dr Anil, directeur des services médicaux du cluster 1 d'Apollo Hospitals à Chennai. Le centre offre des soins complets sous un même toit pour les varices, la thrombose veineuse profonde, les ulcères veineux, les saignements et l'insuffisance veineuse chronique. Cette initiative vise à améliorer les options de diagnostic et de traitement de ces affections grâce à la coordination de plusieurs spécialités médicales.
