Le Bitcoin a poursuivi ses échanges pendant le jour férié du 4 juillet, tandis que les principaux marchés boursiers américains sont restés fermés. Ce contraste a souligné la disponibilité 24h/24 et 7j/7 de la cryptomonnaie par rapport aux circuits financiers traditionnels.

Les calendriers officiels indiquaient que les marchés du NYSE et du Nasdaq étaient fermés le vendredi 3 juillet pour la célébration du jour de l'Indépendance. Le Bitcoin est resté accessible sur les plateformes d'échange et les applications tout au long de cette période.

Les ETF Bitcoin au comptant aux États-Unis ont enregistré des sorties nettes de 222 millions de dollars le 30 juin et de 296 millions de dollars le 1er juillet, suivies par des entrées de 223,5 millions de dollars le 2 juillet. Le jour férié a ensuite suspendu les fenêtres de négociation des ETF alors que le cours du Bitcoin continuait d'évoluer.

Le traitement par la Réserve fédérale a suivi une pause prévue à partir du 3 juillet tard dans la journée et devait reprendre le 5 juillet. Les services bancaires se sont alignés sur le calendrier des jours fériés, laissant le processus de règlement du Bitcoin sans interruption.
