China Airlines dévoile l'avion Pokémon Pikachu Jet CI2

La compagnie taïwanaise China Airlines s'est associée à The Pokémon Company pour lancer son deuxième avion aux couleurs de Pokémon, le Pikachu Jet CI2, un Airbus A350-900. L'appareil, qui arbore 13 personnages Pokémon sur son fuselage, est entré en service le 2 avril. Il assure initialement des liaisons entre Taoyuan, Tokyo Narita et Seattle, avec des équipements thématiques à bord.

China Airlines a dévoilé le Pikachu Jet CI2 sous le thème « S'envoler vers le monde ». Cette deuxième collaboration entre la compagnie aérienne et The Pokémon Company orne le fuselage de l'avion avec des personnages tels que Granivol, Pikachu volant, Cotovol, Minidraco chevauchant Dracolosse, Charmillon, Prismillon, Tylton, Altaria, Floravol, Cresselia et Mélofée. Le design intègre la culture traditionnelle des carreaux décoratifs de Taïwan avec des motifs de nuages propices et de fleurs symbolisant la bonne fortune, ainsi que des Pokémon cachés dans les motifs, le tout dans une palette de couleurs pastel assortie au logo de fleur de prunier de la compagnie aérienne sur la dérive.
