La Fédération danoise de football a confirmé qu'Eriksen était conscient et se portait bien compte tenu des circonstances. Il a reçu des soins pendant environ 13 minutes avant de quitter le terrain sous une ovation du public. Le Danemark menait 2-1 au moment de l'interruption du match.
